Rules of the Shukach

The Anomalous Zone, born in the depths of the Chernobyl Station, is steadily swallowing up new territories. It claims them from humanity, filling these lands with its own inhabitants - terrifying monsters and mutated flora and fauna.
Sometimes, the Zone is shaken by a Breakout - a catastrophic event that reshapes everything in its vicinity, sowing the surrounding space with deadly anomalies.
However, even more dangerous than the Zone's inhabitants are the people who remain within it, each for their own compelling reason. Some of them hunt for artifacts spawned by anomalies - these people are known as "shukachs," meaning "seekers".
A team of soldiers, led by a seasoned shukach, enters the Zone to disarm a nuclear warhead that was aboard a helicopter lost near the Perimeter.
But it turns out that the soldiers aren't the only ones seeking to reclaim the cargo. Bandits, looters, free shukachs, and even the Zone itself are all hunting for the warhead.
For some, it's a key to wealth. For others, it's a path to power. For some, it's a chance to survive. But for most - it's death.
