Since time immemorial mankind has devised and recorded their rules for life. And many famous and distinguished individuals have recorded their rules for life for our edification and instruction. From Washington and Jefferson to Colin Powell and Norman Schwarzkopf we examine their rules in this volume. From the Scout Law and the Ten Commandments to the Bill of rights these are all words of wisdom for us to live by. And then there are Darnall's Rules.Darnall's Rules started when I was on staff at Scout camp and developed over time. The most useful was Rule #1 - All the horse's rears are not on horses. This proved to be very useful. For example, the conversation might go like this. "What's all the commotion about?" "It's a Rule #1 situation." "Oh!" No further explanation was necessary. You can see how useful that would be. Then there is: Rule #3 - Wives and mothers do not think farts are funny. You can see how useful that could be. From that start the list of rules grew; some from real life situations; some from humor; and some from the wisdom of my long life. (I was born early in the last century.) Some were stolen from others. Some were offered freely. Some were made up to meet a particular situation. Enjoy!
