The Year is 2305: Five years have passed since the end of a devastating worldwide civil war that has ripped the Global Federation in half. Having been defeated, the Africasian Union struggles not only to rebuild physically but spiritually as well. This brutal seven year war has left both nations economically stalled and deeply divided. Jacob Orion returns home a war hero, having commanded the Federal Military for the duration of the war. Now, on a political battlefield he fights for the reformation of the Global Federation against those who push for a much more aggressive and cautious handling of the Union. However, even after the official end of the war forces within the Union threaten to rekindle the flames of dissent from out of the ashes. Support comes from unlikely sources as there are those within the Federations who would benefit from another war. Tensions are high as the reality of a new war looms like storm clouds brewing in the distance. Time seems to be slipping away as political forces clash and the military gears up for what seems to be painfully inevitable. As the world collapses in on itself a new enemy lies in waiting, ready to seize the Ruins of the Empire.
