The End is never the end

I loved this book because it tied up loose ends well, but left room for more to come. The expansion of the Grisha universe made me devour this book quickly, unable to sleep until I knew how it would end. A lot of romantic tension drove my need to find out what would happen "in the end" but a lovely thing is while this wrapped up the trilogy, it did leave the series able to have two more duologies follow it. I read it for the closure but was excited to start another series in this universe that connects.

The Worst Out The Series

This book was the worst in the Shadow and Bone series. It was extremely cliche and predictable, and the end battle was won off of complete b.s. honestly. It was disappointing in that the series started out strong, but unfortunately didn't end that way.

Great ending to the series

Although I enjoyed the Six of Crows duology more, this book in the Shadow & Bone series is by far the best. I'm not a huge fan of the ending but loved it nonetheless.

I cried. And cried. And cried some more.

An AMAZING finale to an AMAZING series! Many twists and turns that wretched out my heart! This has by far been one of my favorite trilogies! If you liked this, read "The Young Elites" by Marie Lu.
