Wonderful Illustrations, Great Book

I have a 10-month old daughter whose face absolutely lights up when she sees the sweet, toothy-grin of Rufus. The illustrations are simply adorable and hilarious and the story captures the essence of "cat"-ness. I stumbled across this at the library, but will definitely add this to our home collection. I hope that there are more Rufus books some day, and a board book edition would be great as well.

A must for any library!

This book is just amazing, the illustrations are wonderful for children to look at and the story is a pleasure to read. As a parent who reads books over and over again, I love finding books that my children ask for again and again that I enjoy reading again and again (not always an easy feat!). I highly recommend this book and look forward to another book from Tory and Norm Taber!

Sweet & Funny!

In this work we find rufus; he is a cat and quite a colorful at that. His girl Posy, as Rufus calls her, often asks him what good is he? Rufus is offended and tells of all the important things he does each day. For example; he keeps the sun off the rug, he wakes up Finn the fish, and even decorates the neighbor's car. He certainly is busy. This is just a cute colorful book that is sure to entertain your children and give them a giggle. I think they will enjoy this one.

great illustrations and VERY cute!

I have purchased this books for all the little kids in my life - and some of the grown-ups too! The storyline is adorable and the pictures make me wish I could crawl inside the book to play with Rufus and Posey!
