Ruby Ray has a job to do.
God has gifted her,
To deliver sweet dreams to you
Now, she doesn't have plenty of time.
But she will do her best to deliver,
Before the grandfather clock's Midnight chime.
I Am Perfect The Way I Am is a thoughtfully crafted series of early readers designed to empower young children recently diagnosed with Autism or other disabilities. Ideal for ages 5-8, each book aims to build self-confidence and foster a positive self-image during this critical period. Drawing from personal experience with my three autistic teenagers, I understand the confusion, fear, and self-doubt that often accompany an early diagnosis. These challenges can lead to low self-esteem, especially when coupled with bullying. That inspired me to create these uplifting stories to support children and their families. Now, as my own children have grown, I am dedicated to helping others navigate these difficult journeys. My Christian faith informs all my work, which includes writing large print books for children and teens. I invite you to discover the first two books in this series, inspired by my personal journey in parenting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder, as detailed in my book, The Crazy Mother's Guide To Raising Exceptional Children. Join me in empowering your child and celebrating their unique strengths.
