Ruby & Ralph are clever stray dogs who spend their days reading newspapers in the park. After seeing an intriguing advertisement, they decide to audition for a local play that needs a canine actor who is a great catcher. After lots of practice and some nerves, Ruby & Ralph brave the stage and impress the audition committee with their skills. After taking this big chance, they participate in a unique theater production and end up being the stars of the show. This story of teamwork and self-confidence is written in lively prose and is illustrated with vibrant full-color paintings. It's an entertaining read for grade-schoolers and a great story to read aloud to younger children as well.
