In the process of searching for the missing man, Millie and Mabel become informed of the history and culture of the Chinese in Belize, as well as some of the perils of the gambling world. The stakes are high in this exhilarating adventure that takes them to the Duty Free Zone at the Mexican border, Belize City, Belmopan and Sarteneja. In process of searching for the missing man, they inadvertently put others in danger and narrowly escape with their own lives.
