This book has long been in the making relocating from Marietta, Georgia to Beaufort, South Carolina in 2009 attempting to flea from a toxic long-time marital situation while filing for divorce. Moving to South Carolina, my familial place of origin, was a bold move for me considering I dealt with abandonment issues on both sides I'd buried, stepped over and moved on from long years ago... Somewhere in rural South Carolina existed a huge paternal side, I'd never known including, a natural father (Biodad) I'd not seen since he divorced Mother when I was a child. Funny, I only prayed to rid myself of hatred for an ex so as to move forward. Little did I suspect, traveling backwards to confront, then let go of deeply rooted familial hatred had to be the first foundational step towards achieving my goal I learned hatred would never leave until forgiveness escorted it out This book chronicles how a route to roots odyssey aided in my necessary turnaround as a Christian.
