Changing History--One Woman at a Time

Rosa Parks is black. And for that reason she has to use a separate public restroom, special public drinking fountain, and sit in the back of the public buses. One day she decides she's not going to be treated any differently than white folks. And that's when the city of Montgomery, Alabama, gets the attention of the entire country. It seems all the blacks in Montgomery are going to join her in insisting on equal rights for blacks. What happens is exciting, often filled with hardship, and sometimes dangerous. (A junior biography for primary-intermediate grades)
