Rosa, a Survivor: A victim of terrorism, she finds peace ...

Gone to the "the end of the world", will Rosa find peace from her PTSD nightmares?

At Algiers U. she was teaching ethnology, in charge of inventorying Sahara's pre-historic rock paintings.
As a kid, she loved her mom, Mary Blanchard, a destitute American expat living in a North African immigrant neighborhood of Paris.
Tarik, her Berber biological father, was an ethnology student at the Sorbonne. In 1961, just a few days before baby Rosa's birth, he joined a political march. Hundred of Algerian demonstrators were brutally killed by the police. Disappeared, Tarik was assumed dead.
Rosa found herself culturally split, obsessively looking for a father figure during all her life, She exceled in sciences and develops a passion for the Berber culture. During her last January 2013 expedition to the Tassili N'jjer National Park in the Sahara, she and her three associates fell victims of Islamist terrorists during the In Amenas gas plant siege.
Severely traumatized, she collapsed in a PTSD catatonic state.
By sheer luck, during the ensuing chaos at the plant, she was taken to the US embassy in Algiers. During her debriefing, US intelligence officers found that she was an American citizen from her mother. She was sent for PTSD treatment at San Diego's Naval Hospital.
Unable to stop her PTSD suffering, she ran away to Todos Santos, in Baja California, Mexico. While there, she was violently stirred by the memory of the Eagle Rock group song "Hotel California" that had soothed her at the height of the In Amenas terrorist attack.
Now in Todos Santos, she strives to understand the local people and their mysticism-based culture.
In the process, she discovers the pleasures of a genuine family life that she never had experienced.
She meets Carlos, a Baja Native American.
He is self-taught and has a passion for prehistoric cultures, hoping to understand and relate with his extinct Guaycura nation.

Rosa and Carlos enjoy their multual passion for science.
Will they find love ?
