I wish there were more poetry lovers in the world so they could experience the remarkable beauty of these poems. At times, I found myself gaping in wonder at the rich bouquet of words before my eyes. Regardless of those nasty rumors, the English language is not yet dead. It is alive and quite well, thank you, in the poems of Jeanne Emmons. This is a real find!

I love how she brings her family into her work. Her poetry brings alive ordinary things and captures the beauty of everyday life. Soul-kindling!
Clean, crisp, organic poetry. Emmons has a director's eye.

This book will be one of the best books of Poetry this year. Emmons is able to capture both feeling and echoing imagery in her book. Garders and an poets will love her work. She takes the feelings of what is ordinary (vacuuming, housework, gardening) and turns it into the extrordinary.
