Gem of a Book

Perfect book, arrived signed by the author. I can't wait to let Autumn be our guide on our romantic getaway! :)

Lovely

What a lovely and informative guide. Frommer's be damned! Zagat? Please. Not only is this book informative, it is an enjoyable read to boot. I have a copy on my coffee table and have recommended it to all of my friends. Although this particular guide is geared toward couples, there's something here for everyone: history of the destinations, tips on wine tasting, guidance for dog-friendly accommodations and much more! And all from a born and raised Napkin (aka Napa resident/Napa kin)! Sources don't come more reliable than that. Do yourself a favor and get this book! Even if you aren't planning a trip to Napa but just need some good travel/escape reading, the photography and information alone will quickly transport you to an idyllic paradise, giving an otherwise boring afternoon a magical feel. If you are planning a trip to Napa (lucky you), let Romantic Napa Valley be your guide. I hope to see more from this author in the future. Cheers!

A must read for couples visiting Napa Valley

This is a wonderful book! Filled with great photos, suggestions, and practical tips, it allows a couple looking for romantic spots the inside knowledge to find them. Napa Valley is filled with romance, but not all wineries are romantic. Some are rather large and have a commercial feel; others are small and intimate. This book allows you to choose the ones you probably never heard of but who offer the romantic experience you are seeking. And if you are a guy looking for the perfect spot to ask her to marry you, this is a great resource.

Details on what to expect at each of the featured wineries is most helpful in planning your agenda. And the photos are breathtaking. Your trip will be enhanced by having this book in hand.

Wonderful Resource

If you plan to go to Napa Valley, you must have this book. Not only does it give you great suggestions but the photos are amazing. There are so many wineries and restaurants in Napa that sometimes you can get overwhelmed. This book recommends places that aren't the typical tourist-trap. My husband and I really enjoyed going to Mumm and Artesa. Napa is such a beautiful place and this book made it easy to find the absolute best places to visit.
