Roman Villains: Running Vocabulary

Latin literature is full of villains. One of the difficulties students face when reading about them, however, is the vocabulary. This book contains the Latin text of the villains selections from the 2019-2022 IB exam: Vergil, Aeneid X.689-746; Livy, Ab Urbe Condita I.57-60 and III.44-48; Sallust, Bellum Catilinae 1-2, 5-9. It is in large font and double-spaced so students can annotate the text. Next to the text is a line-by-line vocabulary list of the words students are most likely not to know. Though the selections are from the IB syllabus, this book will be helpful to all readers of Latin.
