Edward Lehman, newspaper publisher and civic leader, grew up in Denver in the 1930s when gangsters and kidnappings were front-page news. His work life began as a paperboy and culminated as owner/publisher of the Longmont Daily Times-Call, the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald, and the Ca?on City Daily Record. Lehman?s varied professional life also included years as a police reporter, Deputy District Attorney for Denver, private trial attorney, and a stint in the Colorado State Legislature. In this memoir, Lehman documents his personal story and newspaper career, spanning much of the twentieth and into the twenty-first centuries and reflecting sweeping changes in society, reporting, technology, communication, and business management.
