Having just lost his adoptive father, Riley is ready to make his trek back to school. With the car packed, he leaves his home in Pennsylvania, bound for San Francisco. On the way, he encounters something he least expects, a young girl from an Amber Alert. After alerting the authorities, he feels he's done his part and continues. That night at the motel, he witnesses the same girl and her abductor in a different vehicle. As the night progresses, Riley is plagued with a series of flashbacks. Memories that were previously blocked flood back to him, leaving his mental health threatened. In these memories, he has another family and lived in another country. Upon researching on his phone, he finds out the unexpected truth. Riley was taken from his biological family and sold to his adoptive parents. During his journey to save himself and the little girl, he learned how deep this human trafficking operation truly goes.
