RODOLFO´s ARRIVAL
This book was born long before it existed on paper.
The stories you will read here are inspired by real moments in my life with my family. I am not an experienced writer, nor someone who has spent years studying literature. I am just a father who has always enjoyed telling stories.
When my daughters were little, bedtime was also adventure time. Every night I invented a new story. Often the stories arose right there, on the spot, mixing things from our house, events of the day, and a lot of imagination.
To make it even more fun, I used whatever was nearby to dress up: an old hat, an improvised cape, a piece of fabric, or any object that helped bring the characters to life. The goal was simple: to make my daughters laugh, relax, and end the day with a little magic before bed.
Rodolfo, the great companion of many of these stories, really existed. He was part of our family and left many happy memories.
And yes, the castle also existed. It was simply our home, but for us-and especially for the children-it was a true castle full of adventures, mysteries, and characters.
Over time, these stories were kept in the family's memory. This book is a way to record and share them.
I hope that, as you read these pages, you will find a little of the same spirit with which they were born: imagination, affection, and that special moment when the day ends and a good story begins.
