Rodeo: The Unstoppable Spirit of a Country Pig

By Sterling Morrison

Based on a true story, RODEO is a heartwarming, comedic adventure following the unforgettable journey of Hampton-a mischievous piglet adopted from a small farm in Paw Paw, Michigan by a spirited young couple, Sterling and Olga. Yearning for a slice of country life, the couple settles in Ortonville, surrounded by a quirky menagerie: Debbie the exuberant golden retriever, a flock of feisty chickens, two lovable ducks named Fettuccine and Alfredo, and, of course, Hampton, whose nightly fridge raids and impromptu escapades keep everyone on their toes.

When financial troubles threaten to uproot the family's dream, Hampton's curiosity and can-do spirit lead him to an unlikely solution: a pig-led rodeo. Inspired by rodeo programs and fueled by his own stubborn sense of mischief, Hampton secretly trains in the barnyard-twirling in pirouettes, perfecting comedic belly flops, and coaxing his animal pals into a show-stopping routine. In a whirlwind of hilarious road trips, run-ins with extended family (and their assorted dogs), and impromptu performances at local fairs, Hampton's rodeo act goes viral-captivating hearts far beyond Ortonville.

Overflowing with warmth, laughter, and the unbreakable bond between humans and their animals, RODEO reveals how an ordinary pig-with a wink, a spin, and a resounding "wahoo "-can rally a community, uplift a struggling family, and remind us all that even the smallest acts of hope can change the world.
