Captain Dustin Penner is involved in a helicopter crash during a military training exercise, which results in the death of his crew. A year later, as he puts his life back together, he's recruited by his former commanding officer as a corporate liaison to the military's new special project: implementing a full-sized autonomous aerial combat system, "Zeus' Angel."
