Robopocalypse: The Musical!: A Rock and Roll Puppet Show

News flash City name and date The near future New developments in artificial intelligence have gone... not as planned. And now the robots are taking over-unless plucky teen hacker, Jolie Daniels, screen-name Ha.G., and the bot she made from spare parts from her parent's garage, can stop the armies of sentient appliances she accidentally loosed on the world; as well as A.C.E., the artificial intelligence made from her bot's program that is controlling them.

From Puppeteers for Fears, the company that brought you Cthulhu: the Musical , and The Cabaret at the End of the World, comes a hilarious cyberpunk fever-dream: ROBOPOCALYPSE: The Musical

Experience the downfall of human civilization through the eyes of singing appliances, grouchy surgery bots, conspiracy-theorizing electric cars, tech-baron cyborgs, and more. Robopocalypse: The Musical brings together all the core elements of a Puppeteers for Fears show, including snappy dialog, catchy songs, sci-fi and horror thrills, and enough heart to cover the whole stage. All of it, exclusively for puppets.

This book contains the complete script for the original touring cast production, including lead sheets for all thirteen original songs written for the show, as well as an introduction by playwright Josh Gross.

PUPPETEERS FOR FEARS BIO

Puppeteers for Fears is an Oregon-based comedy troupe, specializing in original horror and science fiction rock'n'roll musicals performed with puppets. The company was founded as a one-night-only cabaret show for Halloween 2015, but was so popular that it kept going and never looked back. In the time since, PFF has written and performed a half-dozen original feature musicals covering everything from supernatural monsters to killer robots to lonely sasquatches, and sold out venues nationwide with its innovative and hilarious combination of puppetry, video, and live music.
