They attacked the author without regard to the truth of what he asserted, only that here was someone who dared to portray Stevie Nicks as someone with feet of clay, and not the "chiffon clad goddess," and "Queen of Rock 'N Roll," as Rolling Stone Magazine self-servingly portrayed her.
