Multi-hyphenate talent, Robert Morse, had a lengthy career in both film and TV and became famous for his work in the entertainment industry. He has been a versatile actor and singer. He moved to Los Angeles to get into show business around the fifties, spending much of his early career working with renowned professionals like Walt Disney and Bing Crosby-as a result, Robert came to grow a reputation for being someone dependable in the business. He most famously played the character "Bertram Cooper" for about eight years on Mad Men.
Born on May 18th, 1931 in Newton, Massachusetts, Robert Morse had a keen interest in the theatre from a young age. His most memorable experience was at the age of ten in "The Girl Next Door," when he gave a stellar performance as Truman Capote that certainly dazzled many. He applied to all his preferred schools, including Carnegie Mellon and Harvard, but ended up studying drama at the famous Neighborhood Playhouse alongside his brother Richard, who also wanted to become an actor. While in the city of New York, Morse had the favorable luck of meeting Henry Lasker, a man who might turn into his guide. Later on, Morse would agree that this man taught him a lot about life and business. As far as connections are concerned, he was especially pleased to talk with us about projects that should remain in our past and also to discuss several ways in which we could improve ourselves individually.
