Brian Anthony Honor - 21 July 1955 - 17 May 2005 - Cultural Activist, calypsonian, robber man, actor, composer.Brian dedicated his life to the defence and upliftment of the rich cultural traditions of the people of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean He was best known for his innovative work of introducing modern content to the oratory and art of the Midnight Robber, a traditional Carnival character.Brian has left a great legacy of written and recorded calypso lyrics, robber speeches, costumes, memorable performances on stage and in the heart of the struggles of the workers and people. This book records his cultural exploits and examines his legacy in the 20-year presentations of the Mystery Raiders Robber Mas band which he led for 5 years and samples of his robber speech and calypso lyrics.
