TV Series 1979–1988 25m 112 Episodes A lot of quick programs were conceived by Jeffrey Archer, W. Somerset Maugham, and Roald Dahl. The series starts with introductions by Roald Dahl; later, they just jump in without an introduction. Each short episode contains many famous actors of the time, including Joan Collins, Ian Holm, John Mills, Leslie Caron, Derek Jacobi, Christopher Lee, Joan Hackett, and more. The timing is just around twenty minutes each and has the feel of a play. Not a misplaced word or scene, as there is no time to elaborate. Yes, you may have seen similar, and yes, you can second-guess; it is the execution that will intrigue and entertain you.
