I went on my very first road trip from California to Virginia, up to Canada and back into the USA through Michigan, stopping along the way at various spots to sight see and eat. This book was the best investment for that trip. All the places that were editor's choices to see and eat were absolutely great! The book is broken up by highway routes, so it tells you mile by mile what you'll see on the way and things you might be interesting in stopping to take a closer look at. In large cities such as San Francisco and Washington D.C. they provide street maps so it enhances your navigation through unknown places. I had a great experience with this book and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a little help in knowing what is worth seeing and what isn't.
