These publications are comprised of photographs and philosophical quotes. Pictures of barns, houses, funky things, water, roads, and even fences. Each of the six books focus on specific subject matter. The general idea is to find some aspect of the photograph that relates to the corresponding quote. A bit of exercise for the brain, I would dare to suggest. So, an idea turned into an action is what hopefully provokes a thought or two. The photo's have been compiled over the last ten years or so, and could be from anywhere in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, or any of the New England states. The quote's have been obtained from numerous publications that have been studied over the years, with special attention to such greats as Seneca, Plato, Marcus Aurelius and the like. Much that we struggle for today had already been thought about by all these great men, and to read, focus and understand what they wrote could take us a long way.
