Friends to Lovers

Eric and Isabelle have been friends since college, but when Eric picks her up for a road trip he sees her for the first time. Eric has never taken the time to really look at Isabelle and when he does he's a goner. Their road trip starts off bumpy because Eric is still trying to fight his newly discovered attraction to Isabelle. Once they move from friends to lovers Eric is really to move to the next level, but they have some obstacle to overcome first. I love the Warner boys and can't wait until the next one. This is definitely a recommended read.

I rate it a 10!

This book is simply delightful! From the first page to the last I was riveted and anxiously waiting for Eric and Izzy to let love take its course. Aside from this, the book kept me laughing and I could not put it down. It's been so long since I've read a romance novel that was genuinely a 10. The witty dialogue, contrast between the families, and reluctance of the heroine to become serious with her best friend kept the romance interesting. Since we met Eric in Tender Secrets, we knew it would take someone truly special to reform his "playa" mentality. It was so cute to see how vulnerable Eric had become now that the shoe was on the other foot, wanting a committed relationship with a woman for the first time ever. What goes around comes around! Oh, did I forget to mention some shocking secrets are revealed along the way that make this story more profound and add even more depth? You are missing out on a real treat if you don't purchase this book immediately!

Great Book!

This book was sooo good. Isabella Stevens and Eric Warner have been friends for seventeen years. The chemistry between them has always been there kindling beneath the surface but the timing was never perfect. When Eric finally sees Isabella as a looker, he now wants to explore their relationship further. Ann Christopher wrote a page-turner with this one! I'm looking forward to new releases.

I loved this story. This author can do no wrong in my eyes. I've read all of her books and this story did not disappoint me. This story is heartwarming and leaves the reader feeling lighthearted. I love best friends falling for each other. Eric finally saw the beauty in his best friend Izzy that had been there forever. I enjoyed the banter back and forth between Izzy and Eric; the dialogue is too funny. Her free spirit was the perfect match for Eric's corporate background. I respect the fact that Izzy is not too vunerable and Eric is not too overpowering. They are equals. The love scenes scorch the pages. You will need a glass of water. I am in love with this family. The suprising secondary character from this book is the dog. The dog is too cute. Catching up with Andrew and Viveca from "Tender Secrets" was icing on the cake. Buy this book... you will love it!

First let me say that this story is HOTT! Isabella has been in love with her best friend and confidant Eric every since college. He is a playa and she felt she never had a chance with him because he only saw her as a friend and sister. They decide to go to Jacksonville to attend a wedding of their friends together and when he arrives to pick her up, he sees her in a whole new light. He wants her even though he knows he is not a forever type of guy and she is just the opposite. Secrets come to light and love but will the secrets bring them closer or end a great relationship? Great and touching story.
