I was walking through Books a Million on Friday and accidentally came upon Kenneth's book titled Road to Purpose and was so impressed that I finished reading the book by nine o'clock. As a teacher of over 40 years in Connecticut .I would give Mr. Behring the highest rating possible for any book. May God bless Mr. Behring and his family. They are a credit to our country.

It is wonderful to read about a man who came from such humble beginnings and made his own very successful way in life and then found true purpose by helping others. I first saw him on Robert Schuller's "Hour of Power" and was very taken by his passion for helping others. The stories of Mr. Behring overcoming great challenges early in life and then achieving so much shows his true spirit and tells me exactly why his Wheelchair Foundation is now doing so well. I am inspired by him and those like him that put personal gain second to changing people's lives for the better. May God bless you Mr. Behring and all the people that support your great mission.

Wonderfully surprised

I received a copy of Mr. Behring's book as a result of making a donation to the Wheelchair Foundation. Not only did I find his life story very interesting, but I found a very easy way to relate his experiences with my love of now being involved with helping others. I believe that I have found purpose in my own life by dedicating as much of my free time to others as possible. I feel blessed for all of my gifts, and Mr. Behring has inspired me to give even more. His Wheelchair Foundation is an amazing organization and is helping over 10,000 people get free wheelchairs each month. That is truly doing God's work on earth. God bless all of the people that work so hard to help the less fortunate, and I think Mr. Behring's book is a wonderful guide to helping others find their way to purpose.
Great, insightful book about finding purpose in your life

This book tells the classic rags-to-riches, American dream story of a boy from Wisconsin who grew up poor and later in life found himself a multi-millionaire. However, the story has something special as it goes on to tell how Ken Behring hadn't attained complete joy with all of his riches. He needed something more, and that was to make others' lives better. It wasn't the money that he gave to help people worldwide, but the giving of himself that helped him truly find purpose in life. Our society places so much emphasis on financial success, tax benefits of charitable contributions, etc. that we quickly lose sight of the joy of truly giving of oneself to others. This book reminded me of that and helped me to give of myself more to society.
