What’s all the Bali who? Watch and see.

The presentation requires constant concentration, as each line is filled with references to other literature and other movies, directly addressing the audience (that is, us), and double entendre. We get lots of song and dance along with a consistent story. And as George Cochran (Bing Crosby) says, “-Isn’t it a pity? Every movie’s got to have a message.” Just about everyone you know from the era is in this movie. Even Bob Cosby gets a “shot” in the picture. See how many actors and personalities you recognize; there are at least 60. Instead of a cliffhanger, the movie has an “absolutely the end.” I have seen this critter several times and suggest you look for a digitally remastered copy.
