Informative guide to politics.

I read this book in 1989 while a high-school student. It was one of the first political books I'd read. Some of the issues are out of date (like do we increase the defense budget 2-3 percent or 7-8 percent over inflation), but I learned much about the basics of politics from the late Senator's book. He also made a case for a large foreign-aid budget. Tsongas has a clear, readable, persuasive style. I'm no liberal, but I think Tsongas had a vision for this country beyond the latest polls and would have been a good leader. Thanks Paul and God bless you...
