This collection is the result of 47+ days of writing a poem a day starting on my 47th birthday. The poems vary in subject and style, reflecting day to day and larger thoughts. Some are personal introspections and some are pieces inspired by friends and strangers. All are my own owned me, the result of all the thoughts and all the people with whom I have had the daily distraction of living with. Many I love, admire, just think kindly about...just because you were there. Some took me deeper and darker. Thank you for all you have given me to express. You are my world, my muse, my stuff. Read me and think about yourself, as I have with other poets. We put it out there to make you think about yourself while we hold our own thoughts and feelings up to the light. We may be incorrect, but at least we make you think. This is dedicated to all of my writers out there, heard or unheard, spoken or silent...I ask you just to write and get it out.
