Easy read

It was a simple text that thoroughly looked at the myriad of ways rivers ate important to civilization. Three were some thought provoking pieces but some seemed obvious - but those are always things unsaid so important to include them. There is a soft narrative element but it is mostly driven by information. I enjoyed it but it was not gripping.
