The River Avon is written by Stan's Cafe associate director Craig Stephens after workshops with people living along the banks of the river.

The River Niger is a collaboration between Abraham Omale and Twamsen Danaan of Egija Naija theatre company in Jos, Nigeria with James Yarker Artistic Director of Stan's Cafe. As part of their research Abraham and Twamsen took a fraught road trip to the banks of the Niger.
