Epic Civil War

This is book 5 in the Spies of the Civil War series but could be read as a stand-alone. I have only read book four in the previous titles and was glad that Ash & Julia were included in this story. Felicity & Luke are memorable characters for their bravery in such turbulent times. Although Luke has amnesia from a battle wound he still defends his loyalties risking not only his freedom but his life. I can not imagine the strength Felicity had to keep it all together living in a house with relatives who didn’t share the same loyalties, a fiancé that couldn’t remember her, and a co worker who makes life difficult. A well researched story with battle details without being gory. It is well written and you feel like you are a witness to the events as they take place. Full of adventure and sweet romance. It is a book you don’t want to put down. I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
