Calvin York, a Colorado Bureau of Investigation, is called to a remote area of Colorado along the Yampa River that runs through the Dinosaur National Monument when a body of a young woman is found dead lying on a tall red rock along the bank of this Class V River. After retrieving the body, Cal starts investigating numerous people who may be involved in this murder. Mixing his investigation with some interesting fishing on the river, Cal tries to solve this unusual murder.
