Rising From the Fire

By Muriel Okubo

The word "fire" can evoke many meanings. These pages highlight the fires that act as the hardships and tremendous plights that call on our hearts, spirits, and souls to confront and overcome. They're not just challenges; they're transformative agents. In conquering these enormous burdens, we release profound love, light, resilience, perseverance, determination, and strength from within. We can transform darkness into light with divine power, turning chaos into wisdom, beauty, and love.

These verses, inspired by the incredible resilience of the human spirit, remind you of the strength required to survive tragedy. You can tap into this same divine power to rebuild your life in a way that embraces love, beauty, and peace for the future.

Love is not merely a choice; it's a foundation. It's the cornerstone of your rebuilding, guiding your journey forward.

You are the bright light capable of this, and you hold the strength within to live from this consciousness. Just be the light you are-in all you do, all you say, and everywhere you go.

Your inner strength, resilience, wisdom, and capacity to love and forgive-are your light. They can conquer all darkness if you keep them illuminated by the love and wisdom within you.

Keep your light shining.

This book will resonate with survivors of any trauma/tragedy and those enduring PTSD.
