Rising Above The Bossy People Rule: Rising above the Bossy People Rule, or How Not to be The Bossiest Generation

The Left versus Right conflict became too absurd to take seriously decades ago, after it devolved into a false dichotomy pitting Statists against each other. This hasn't stopped moderates from attempting to bring them together, resulting in creeping Statism (implicitly or explicitly accepting the State or its head as a god) that perpetuates the most primitive form of civilization, the Bossy People Rule, which is little better than the violence it replaces.Escaping this false dichotomy is easier said than done. Leaning Left (or Right) can make you increasingly sympathetic to allied extremists, and without a disciplined commitment to Liberty, puts you on a descending path to authoritarianism. Getting caught up in this false dichotomy results in absurd arguments. For example, from time to time there will be an argument about which dictator was responsible for more human deaths, Stalin or Hitler. Does it really matter whether it is vicious extreme Leftist International Socialists, or hateful extreme far Right National Socialists that starve, enslave, gas, incinerate, or shoot you? If either extreme takes power, liberty could be lost for decades, perhaps longer in this age of surveillance.Five thousand years ago, the lowest form of "civilized" State, Bossy People Rule, arose in response to the Brutality, Chaos, Conflict, Deprivation, Savagery and Barbarism of competing tribalism. For centuries, thoughtful teachers and insightful preachers admonished humanity to rise to higher levels of civilization, but too few did unto others as they would be done unto, and even fewer loved neighbors as self. Over time, political philosophers proposed alternatives: Socialist theorists sought to take power away from conservative authoritarians and give it to themselves so they could set everything aright; this caused the current Left versus Right divide and encouraged everyone to live the second commandment of socialism: boss your neighbor instead of yourself. Democratic republicans sought to eliminate authoritarian power altogether by establishing Liberty through limited government. Well-intentioned though they were, these imperfect institutions allowed slavery, Communism, and Fascism to flourish. It is now the 21st century. Devotees of Statism, unwittingly support the use of fraud and force to exalt the false god of Government as the one true way to meet human needs. This dogma is unjustified Some needs are best met by the State, but other needs can be met by "good people" voluntarily joining together in world-wide private clubs, bringing about an equitable and merciful society. This is, after all, the age of the Internet Though not an easy read, this short book touches on the historical and psychological origins of over-bearing Statism, and proposes a promising alternative, the Equitable and Merciful Society. It outlines how each individual can enhance their contribution to general prosperity, avoid bogus bossy ideas, detect subtle oppressions, experiment with voluntary cooperation, understand better our common human needs, more fully live the principles of true justice, exercise the intellectual courage required for insightful reasoning, develop the attributes of interpersonal abundance, and promote sustainable peace, thereby incrementally eliminating the vestiges of authoritarian pseudo-civilization, and bringing an end to the Bossy People Rule.Additionally, voluntary socialism is championed; bossy socialists are deflected; intelligent interdependent individualism is defended; an experimental, nearly nine-dimensioned model of personal political operation is presented; peace between supporters of liberty, especially libertarian theists and atheists is advocated; and a method for avoiding divisive anti-leader (anti-Clinton, anti-Bush, anti-Obama, anti-Trump) obsessions is suggested.Post-Boomer generations, yours could be the most equitable, merciful, and liberating of all Or the bossiest Decide it Abide It
