I can't believe this book isn't more popular...

This is the PERFECT bedtime book for older babies and toddlers... the 19 month old I nanny for is absolutely obsessed with it. Any time he gets tired he will come lay his head on me and say "Moon book!", and as I soon as I pick it up he demands, "Read it!" :D Usually he is mostly interested in the pictures in books rather than the words, but with this book he makes no effort to try to turn the pages before I finish the words. They are so lyrical, so beautifully crafted, it's like a lullaby of words and pictures. The illustrations are some of the most beautiful I've EVER seen... this book is definitely the magic formula to send my little guy peacefully off to sleep. I have to admit, after I'm done reading it, I'm usually pretty ready for a little nap myself! :) I hope they bring this book back into print soon.
