Great little book. I actually read it in one day— it kept me wanting to read more. Soooo good and helpful to understand a few chapters of the Bible and really great understanding of past and future history of world power and end times. Highly recommend!
An exquisite resource!

This wonderful book was originally written as study notes to accompany a six-tape series of (six) sermons given by Dr. John MacArthur. The first four chapters cover Daniel 2 - Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a gigantic statue, while chapter 5 covers Daniel 4 - Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the felling of a mighty tree, and chapter 6 covers Belshazzar's desecration of the Temple vessels and the handwriting on the wall. Now, don't get the idea that this book is just some notes that are no good without the tapes. In fact, this book is an excellent exegesis of the Biblical text! It is nice and short, focusing in tightly on the text, revealing the meaning of it - just as you expect from any work by Dr. MacArthur. So, if you are looking for a book that will enlighten you as to what these select scripture references mean, then I can't recommend this book enough, it is an exquisite resource!
