In one second of unconcscious recognition, Jenny Smedley, an ordinary housewife, believed she had rediscovered a soul mate from a previous incarnation. Her subconscious memories told her he now... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Two very nasty comments by previous reviewers made me do my own review of this book. First of all misquoting Garth - he said 'I'm not sure I understand the book, probably somebody would need to explain it to me.'A whole different context - please quote correctly if you're going to quote at all.Second thing - I have it on totally definite authority that ALL proceeds from this book were donated to 'Music For Africa' Hardly the actions of a money grabber! This book is magical and beautiful and Garth doesn't hate it, unlike 'Road Out of Santa Fe'!For your info - a review is meant to be about the BOOK - not the author.
Saved me!

I became totally immersed in Ryan and Madeleine. This book opened my own spirituality in a way I would never have dreamed possible. It was a matter of faith. Somehow, magically, this book has restored my faith in the Almighty. Something I had completely lost. How comforting to know that we are truly 'not alone'. This book saved me!
So easy to get lost in....

That's how I would describe this book. I forgot everything I was meant to be doing. I'm a bit of an expert of reincarnation books, and it was so refreshing to read one that didn't lecture and didn't go over anyone's head. It just told the emotional story, plain and simple. I was lost in the characters. Is it true? Does it matter? I believe it is true - it's the small details that are so convincing. When an hypnotic regression is done badly, as in this case, it is possible to recall conversations. You have to believe in guardian angels to accept it all, but does that matter? I don't think so. An extraordinary story. To think that the author ended up presenting her own TV show, after the state she was in, is good enough for me. Problems such as she had, can't in my opinion, be solved by fantasy. So, on balance, yes I believe it.
Excellent book! I couldn't put it down!

Close your eyes, open your mind, and travel back in time. Experience the heart-breaking love story of Ryan and Madeleine Fitzgerald; also known in this life as Garth Brooks and Jenny Smedley. Feel the pain and anguish of Jenny as she relives the moment when Ryan and Madeleine are torn apart. Then read the passionate romance they shared. It'll make you cry; it'll make you ache; but most of all it'll make you a "believer". Even if you don't believe in past lives, you are sure to enjoy this compelling read. Excellent book!
Compelling story...

I couldn't put this book down. It was spooky, compelling and addictive! The love story touched my heart and I understood the author's feelings upon finding a past life soul mate that she can't seem to meet in this lifetime! Read this book... you'll enjoy it!
