Janet, Peter, and Luke - three generations of the Sonnet family - are impacted by greed, deceit and murder. Janet, the grandmother, is pressured to sign documents related to her deceased husband's business and survives the first attempt on her life. Peter, her son, and his wife suffer an accident following a meeting with the business partner. This leaves Luke, their son, to follow up after he learns about the deceit and murders. With the help of friends, Luke discovers the extent of the business fraud and undergoes several attempts on his life before identifying the responsible persons.
