A Stylish New York Romance

Ok, so Sami is an aspiring clothes designer. So she moves into an apartment with a model, Rain. Enter the totally Hott, Vin. Now with a six pack like Nancy describes I've no idea how she could pass him up for Bruce. Yet when Bruce steals her designs she feels a little differently. Yet still can't seem to find the hottness of Vin irresistable. The combination of the main characters (Sami, Vin, and Rain) is a real up-lifting feeling. It'll put you in goos spirits and make you want to jump a plane to New York. Sami is an ambitious girl and I found her to be loveable. I found the book to be funny as well as romantic. I would kill to be in Sami's shoes. It also makes you think a little about your love life. Is Mr. Right starring you in the face? Read the book to see if Sami and Vin get together. It's a fun book to read. I really recommend it!!

New York Love

Will moving to New York change Sammy Granger's life forever? Sammy is a young girl, straight out of high school. Who has moved away from her friends and family to follow her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. But does the young Minnesota girl know what the big city has in store for her? Sammy has arrived at New York and has found a place to stay for a couple of days. But to find out she has to find a place sooner, because of a terrible tragedy that has happened. Then she finds an apartment to share with this model (Rain). Then Sammy gets a job, with this really hot boss who she starts to date. But later on Sammy will come to find out that he is not all he is cut out to be. This will take Sammy on a new and exciting journey. It is through this tragedy that leads Sammy on a journey for a new job. This job is not at all what Sammy, or her family had in mind. Will Sammy's new job allow her to follow her dreams of becoming a fashion designer? Sometimes life throws us a lot of curve balls. But Nancy Krulik gives us a chance to see how hard life can be in New York. But she also shows us that we should not give up, just because some people are crooks. This book is great for high school students because it shows them how important choices are. Because if you don't know what you want than people are going to take advantage of you, when you get to be an adult, and live out on your own. I also think this is a good book because it targets a big variety of people.

A great book....

This book was about a girl(who just got out of college) from a small town in Minnesota. She moves to New York in the hope of becoming a fashion designer. Sami stays in a hotel for a couple of nights until there is a major crime there. She realizes she can't stay there and finds an apartment she can afford. Her roomate is named Rain G. and she is a fashion model.Rain introduces her to Vin- their next door neighboor.Sami finds a job at Ted Fromme's design company. There she mets a great guy named Bruce or so she thought. Bruce tells her he will show her designs to Ted Fromme. But Sami soon realizes that she was betrayed. Bruce showed Ted the designs but under his name. Sami quits her job and the only place she can find work is in a lingerie shop. She know her father wouldn't be proud but she needs the money to much. Sami realizes that she has a real problem. She will never be famous working at a lingerie shop. Sami begins to start designing nightgowns. People love them and she becomes famous. When she does a photography shoot for a magazine article she mets a guy named Franklin. She begins to date Franklin. Sami's pregant friend comes to see her along with her brother and dad.Her father isn't proud of her but Vin helps her get through it. The time with them was horibble but at the end she has her very own fashion show. It goes great and she realizes the the person she wants to be with was Vin all along. He was with her and he even helped her when her family was here. In the end, Sami realizes that she made a good desicion moving to New York. I would reccomend this book to anyonoe who likes romance and accomplishment. Sami accomplished her goal of becoming a fashion designer and found love while doing it. I would also reccomend this book to teenaged girls because I am one and I loved it.

A cute and charming teen romance.

Eighteen-year-old Sami Granger has left Elk Lake, Minnesota, the small town she has lived in her whole life, and moved to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer. But life in New York isn't exactly what she expected, and the only job she can get is working as a receptionist for a designer. Still, she hopes it will be a back way in - until a guy she thought she could trust steals her designs and claims them for his own. Now the only job she can get is at a trashy lingerie store - but it turns out to be a golden opportunity. Before she knows it, Sami is in demand as a nightgown designer. But the city has changed Sami, and she's not sure she likes the person she is becoming. And who is the right guy for her - Franklin, a famous fashion photographer, or dependable Vin, whose has always been there for her when she needed a friend? I highly recommend this cute book to readers who enjoy teen romances. It's a really fun story and very enjoyable to read. Although the plot can be a bit predictable at times, it doesn't take away from the fun of reading about Sami's adventures as she tries to make her dreams come true.
