An enjoyable read which is a nicely layered mystery

Robyn Leslie's Rinny And The Trail Of Clues is an outstanding novel for young adult readers about a fifth-grade detective by the name of Erin "Rinny" Olson. As Rinny enters the election for class president against the notorious yet intelligent class clown Billy Perez, mysterious events start to happen, starting with the appearance of a dead rat on her doorstep and a note directing Rinny to the cemetery at night. Rinny And The Tale Of Clues is an enjoyable read which is a nicely layered mystery with hidden secrets.
