I am no longer Derrin Aethelbeorn. That name has all but ceased to exist. The college sophomore and kidnapping victim I once was is no more, for in the eyes of my friends-as well as my enemies-he has been superseded by a greater and more powerful force. My enemies call me the Infidel, but to my friends, I am the Liberator.
