RIGHT PLACE WRONG TIME

RIGHT PLACE WRONG TIME follows several characters from the 20th and 21st centuries swept back to the Everglades in 1841 by the Antikythera Mechanism. This device has been a controversy since 1903 when it was found in an 80 BC Roman shipwreck near Greece. One theory contends that it was so technologically sophisticated that it could have only come from the future. The lost people in the story struggle to survive the Seminole War and the harsh elements of the Everglades while trying to find their way back to their own time. There are several primary characters. The main group of seven were on an expedition in 2028 to excavate a pre-Columbian Native American village. Decades later, the grandson of one of the missing people and a detective who originally investigated the case try to solve the mystery of their disappearance. Others vanished from 2088, 2006, 1945, and 1924.
