Ricky and Tim's Racing Adventure is the first in a series of children's books about a race car called Ricky and his best friend Tim the tractor. As their friendship grows they learn to work as a team and uncover new talents that help one another.

Ricky's character is loosely based on the Ford GT40 which raced at Le Mans and won in 1966. The story describes Ricky's determination to win and the emotions he felt along the way. Ricky's best friend, Tim the Tractor is a character based on the vehicles used by the marshal team who helped drivers if they ever got into trouble whilst racing.

"The Track" is the first book in the Ricky and Tim Racing Adventures series and describes their characters and how Ricky and Tim first meet. This children's book series is set to continue with further adventures of best friends Ricky and Tim.
