This book aims to explain Max Weber's thesis on Protestant ethics and its relevance to the Christian style in Maluku. The method used in writing this book is a qualitative descriptive inductive approach. The results achieved in writing this book are that the Protestant reality in Maluku, especially in the GPM, in its correlation with Weber's Thesis, it is clearly stated that the Protestant Calvinists are people who survive and save so that they succeed in the economic world and become capital owners (Capitalism) On the other hand, Calvinist Protestants in Maluku (GPM) do not show this attitude. This concludes that Protestant Ethics as a contextual claim in this study was put forward because of attention to the context of the meaning and articulation of contemporary Protestantism in Maluku.
