Enchanting Pop-up!

I do not know if this is "one of those" books that the PURIST Richard Scarry collectors would be upset about. The publication date on the back cover is 2001.(Some Scarry collectors only desire those NOT altered by his son or his estate.) ANYWAY I wanted to let the general readers know that this is a charming, charming book. There are FIVE POP-UPS that each open up to cover 2 FULL PAGES. (In other words the POP-UP is NOT just on ONE page at a time but covers 2 pages like a centerfold!) There are also little flaps to open and slide. But THE BEST part of this book is YOU CAN TURN IT AROUND AND READ IT FROM BOTH SIDES! There is text and dialog going on all over this book! The plot is funny and interesting. Seems to be very well made. I think ANY Scarry collector, purist or not, would appreciate this book. Oh yes, the kids will love it too!
