This is a standard for Children's Stories

If you read to your children, this is a nicely illustrated book and the stories are classic. This will surely be a family favorite. Hardcover is available if I'm not mistaken. This large format paper-back may be out of print. If you can find it, get it.

A great book

This collection of nursery rhymes is a classic. It has all the ones I remember as a child and more. The pictures are big and funny. It is so much fun to read. I can hardly wait to read it during story time for my daughter.

Great Generalist

I've been looking for a great general book of nursery rhymes and this one fits the bill. It is just as great as the rest of the Scarry books and provides exactly what I was looking for. Can't go wrong!

The large sized illustrations, the bright colors and the rhymes themselves all made this book the favorite with our 5 children. We have gone through 2 copies, now reduced to loose pages, and need to order 2 more for new grandchildren (both age 5 months)
