Rhyme and a little Reason

Having written two full length novels and dozens of short stories it seemed a natural progression to try my hand at poetry. My poems are not structured in the academic sense, but invariably come from inspiration. Something will prompt me to describe a scene that flashes through my mind. It may be an act of bravery or just something or someone I've read about. if I can write it down in a manner that pleases me, then I will try and polish the wording...
